Raven Edgewalker is a British Witch, teacher, artist, photographer, writer and collector of sticks who dwells in the magical landscape of Somerset, UK. They are a Reclaiming and Anderson Feri initiate and has worked within both traditions for around 25 years. They have an ongoing, passionate love affair with the natural world, its physical and non-physical spirts. Raven sees their work in the world as that of building relationship, with self, with each other, within community, with deity and land and its beings. They have spent many years walking the land, listening to its wisdom, songs, stories and poems that it has to offer, deepening their own connection with this glorious earth and learning how to guide others to open to deeper connections of their own.

Raven has been lucky enough to teach many Reclaiming Witchcamps and other workshops across the world, both face to face and online as a founder and member of the teaching faculty of World Tree Lyceum – an online pagan Mystery School.  Raven owns the popular pagan business Greenwomancrafts and makes their living crafting beautiful pagan tools and jewellery – usually out of sticks.

Raven is thrilled and honoured to be returning to Dragonrise Camp – a camp that they helped found many years ago!

Dr Halo Quin (they/her) is a pagan, storyteller, author, neurodivergent philosopher, and a lifelong lover of magic. They are a devotee of the Faery Queen, a lover of the Welsh gods, and queer, sensual witch exploring embodied love, the divine erotic, and sacred nature of pleasure and beauty. Their focus in teaching is on empowerment, healing the perceived split between body and spirit, and encouraging wholeness and the awakening of your own creative power, through dancing with the gods and the work of the Crimson Coven.

Their books include “Gods and Goddesses of Wales”, “Faeries, Folktales, and Spirits” and “Crimson Craft – sexual magic for the solo witch”.

Halo is a Reclaiming and Feri witch, living and working on the West coast of Wales, member of OBOD, and the founder of The Enchanted Academy (or TEA, for short). They co-founded Dragonrise Witchcamp in 2009 and their mission is to re-enchant the world through inspiration, embodiment, and magic.

JD Kelley finds his way through portent and presence. He hails from the urban jungle of NYC, the springs of southern Alabama, and the rolling dunes of Florida’s gulf coast. He is a child of wyrd-ness and delightfully dances in the play of the living cosmos.

He is a student of magical and mystical traditions both young and old and an enthusiastic practitioner of oracular arts, astrology, and astral magic. He has been practicing witchcraft formally since the age of twelve and has had long-term, flirtatious relationship with Reclaiming since 2002, as of late with the Dragonrise and Lovelore camps.

For the last eleven years he has lived in England and Scotland, reconnecting with his ancestors of blood and practice, as well as, the tutelary spirits of these lands. He endeavours to weave the threads of practice and place between the old world and the new. JD takes a pan-poly-animist view in most of his goings-on.

He is the current chair for the Scottish Astrological Association, the president of the International Association of Astral Magic, and the organiser of Astro Magia. You can find him at Cunning as Folk where he teaches and practices his range of esoteric and interpretive arts, or you can follow his dance on all channels @cunningasfolk.

Rowan Herne

Hey happy campers, I’m Rowan, currently in London but hearing the calling of the winds of change! I first read the Spiral Dance at around 17 and became immediately enamoured by and immersed in queer, diverse, earth centered, magical activism. While living in Spain I was involved with Springcamp in Gredos, and first attended Dragonrise in 2017. I adore the land at Wildways and look forward to working within it again, bringing my professional teaching knowledge and grounding it in Reclaiming practice. I try to incorporate the threads of art, music, drumming, deep listening and story into my work and look forward to sharing it with others at camp.

Lou Hart

I am a queer witch, priestess, artist, musician, and writer and a Radical Faerie! (I was given my faerie name, Loup garou, at Short Mountain in Tennessee). I am also one of the founders of Queer Pagan Camp in the UK (back in 1998).  Initiated in the Ninth Wave tradition in the UK some 35 years ago, (a ritual drama witchcraft tradition), I have taught Ninth Wave witchcraft and the ins and outs of ritual and witchcraft in the UK to many groups – same sex, mixed and other queer-identified – and to individuals. Having been a member of Mad Shamans  (and briefly of the Shamanic Hallucinatory Advisory Group),  I work with  other techniques such as path working, shamanic postures, journeying and trance drumming. I am part of the Dragonrise Reclaiming Community in Britain.

I am very well versed in folklore and mythology, particularly in the Welsh and Irish traditions but also local to areas in the UK and have worked/or still work with both Blue and Black Annis, Andraste, Bran and Artio the Bear Goddess.  I have aspected many of these deities.I am also excited by ritual drama and making and using masks for ritual.

I am the author of various papers which I have presented at conferences (including ‘Magic is a Many Gendered Thing’ and contributions to pagan anthologies such as ‘The Wanton Green’) and I play piano, piano accordion, djembe, banjo and anything else I can get my hands on.

I love exploring trance dances and have run these with live drummers. I am very interested in lost deities and contact with spirits of the land and contacting them through trance, dreamwork and ritual. Currently, I am working with Santa Muerte, who came to me during lockdown and brought spirit visitors to me, whose portraits I am producing in felt.
